Ace Centro Enterprises (ACE) supplied two Dragflow Dredging Pumps to an international dredging contractor for their coastal protection works in Fujairah - U.A.E. The contractor had to install three layers of geotextile membrane tubes and fill them with sand, along the coastline of 300 meters. The project demanded the use of heavy duty submersible dredging pumps that could produce high sand content to be pumped over the entire distance into the geo-tubes.
Based on the project details, ACE supplied two Dragflow Pumps to the jobsite:
EL60B - 8” Electric driven Dredge Pump having a capacity of 350 m³/hour.
HY85/160B - 10” Hydraulic driven Dredge pump with a capacity of 460 m³/hour.
ACE Engineers and Technicians handled the onsite commissioning in a professional manner and assisted the client in connecting the HY85/160B to their Komatsu PC 400LC Long Boom Excavator.
Problem: Long distance pumping of dredged sand into geo-tubes.
Solution: Dragflow submersible dredging pumps - Electric and Hydraulic driven.
